Group Executive Committee

The Group Executive is responsible with the Section Leaders for the management of 1st Eynsford & Farningham Scout Group. They provide resources to ensure your child receives the best quality Scouting.

A good Executive is vital to the successful running of Scouting and we have a team under the leadership of the Group Scout Leader, currently the Chair role is vacant.

Also on the team are Andrew Fletcher, Group Secretary and Philip Blakemore Group Treasurer.

We currently have vacancies for a Fundraiser, Quartermaster & Caretaker / Groundsman.

The organisation of fund-raising is a key activity for the Group Executive as the termly subscriptions go nowhere near covering the cost of running the Beavers, Cubs and Scouts. We would welcome your support - either serving on the Executive, helping us raise funds or coming up with ideas to improve the quality of Scouting.

If you can spare some time - the Group Executive meetings take up about 12 hours a year - they usually meet every other month.

Click here and we will be in touch with more information. There is absolutely no obligation at this stage. The better the Group Executive, the better our young people's Scouting experience.
