Newspaper Recycling comes to Eynsford & Farningham

recycle_paper__R_Paper_1.jpgThe Scout Group has recently been awarded a Newspaper & Cardboard Recycling contract by Smurfit Kappa one of Kent's leading paper manufacturers and recycling plants.

The Group will collect your newspapers & cardboard on the 2nd Saturday of each Month starting on 13 March, at the Scout Hall in Priory Lane, Eynsford.

As well as being a 'green' activity the Group will raise funds from this to improve & provide quality Scouting & Guiding to the young people of Eynsford & Farningham,

For the first few months we will ask for the waste papers & cardboard to be brought to the Car Park at the Edwards Hall in Priory Lane, if the initiative really takes off then we will see if we can have a couple of other collection points cars / vans elsewhere in Eynsford & Farningham.

Collection dates for 2010 are:-

Saturday 13 March

Saturday 10 April*

Saturday 8 May

Saturday 12 June

Saturday 10 July*

Saturday 14 August

Saturday 11 September

Saturday 9 October

Saturday 13 November

Saturday 11 December

* Dates marked with an asterisk may change to the Sunday.
