New look Webiste goes down a storm

After a long much anticipated wait our new look Group Website was launched at midnight 24 December by Group Scout Leader Bruce Muckelt as his Christmas present to the Group.

The new website has come about by Bruce Muckelt our GSL being involved in the Swanley District Scouts IT Strategy Group who were responsible for the Swanley District Scouts website which was launched in summer 2009.

The Eynsford and Farningham site along with the New Ash Green Group site were selected to be among first Group sites in Swanley District to be launched before rolling out the model throughout Swanley District.

Says Bruce MucKelt, Group Scout Leader, "This has been a great project to work on, and I hope that it will help improve the Group's profile in the Eynsford & Farningham area as well as in Swanley District. I would also like to thank Kirstie Haxby our Explorer Scout Leader for her technical input and for the overall design of the site."

We would like to hear any feedback you may have about the site good or bad please contact us at info@1steanfscouts.org.uk you never know we may even publish it!
