Darvale Explorers Christmas Bazaar 

Our resident Explorer Scout Unit, Darvale Exolorers held a Christmas Bazaar earlier this month with many Christmas themes items on offer either to buy or take part in.

Ben, Dom, Matt & Robbie oranised the whole event from start to finish and betwenn them raised just under £100 for their section funds.

As well as offering an excellent shocase of homemade fayre such as Lemon Drizzle, Pear & Ginger Cake as well as tradditonal items such as Victoria Sponge (that would give the WI a good run for their money)! Craft stalls included Decorate your own bauble & biscuit, make a home made card & a raffle with many many prizes.

Kirstie Haxby the Explorer Scout Leader (pictured first left) commented "I'm very proud of them all for ogranising the event from start to finish. Ben, Dom, Matt & Robbie are a credit to the Unit. The money they raised will be put towards purchasing expedition equiment for activities in 2011.
